Best types of High Security Fencing
From rigid mesh fencing to palisade security fencing, there are a number of high-security fencing options to choose. But which one is best.
High security fencing is a key part of your overall perimeter security system.
It acts as a first line of defence for your facility against attackers.
At best it can prevent intruders from getting access to your property or land.
Alternatively, it provides you with a vital delay of attack, so you can take action to mitigate any damage or loss, and arrange for emergency response to attend the situation.
But which high security fencing should you choose?

First is the level of threat you expect to face.

The rigidity of the fence is reliant on the thickness of the steel wires and would obviously add to the level of security.
Mesh fencing has become more popular in recent years.
This is because it is both more reliable than palisade fencing (more on that in a second) and is also more visually appealing due to the nature of its construction.
Mesh fencing has become widely used as a high security fencing option and is used for security across a wide range of sectors from airports and data centres to schools and sports facilities.
It is an extremely versatile option as it can be adapted to meet differing levels of security.
Palisade Fencing
While palisade fencing is still used as a security fencing option, it is now widely considered to be outdated.
It is created using solid vertical pales made with iron, secured to horizontal beams, to form a solid barrier.
However, compared to steel mesh, palisade fencing is not as robust, meaning it can be easily damaged in a quicker time frame.
Also, while it is cheaper initially, it does require ongoing maintenance to keep its high-security rating, so in the long term, it can end up being more expensive than using mesh fencing.
So which High-Security Fencing should you choose
